You can help UNICEF promote the rights and well-being of children around the world now through Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
In 2023, up to 250 million children were still out-of-school globally; about 200 million children under 5 suffered from undernutrition; and we saw conflict across the globe affecting more than 460 million children. This year, climate, conflict, and socioeconomic crises continue to have a devastating toll on children and their access to critical services. UNICEF works day in and day out in over 190 countries and territories to deliver the essentials that give every child an equitable chance in life.
UNICEF is committed to reaching the most vulnerable children with essential services like health care, education, and safe water and sanitation. Last year alone, UNICEF provided 37.7 million children and adolescents with access to education, delivered 2.79 billion doses of vaccines to 105 countries, and provided 210 million children under 5 with services for the early detection and treatment of wasting.
Your flexible gift is the most effective and valuable tool in supporting UNICEF’s work to help children worldwide. No gift is too small to make an impact:
- $1 could provide 2 boxes of pencils for school-aged children
- $5 could provide safe water (from a manually drilled well) to 1 child for 1 year
- $12 could provide a manual resuscitator for a baby
- $26 could provide 1 carton of 100 packages of High Energy Biscuits distributed during emergencies
- $51 could provide one WASH & Dignity Kit which covers 1 family in immediate/early response in emergencies
With your support, we can help transform lives and ensure every child is healthy, educated, protected and respected. Check with your company to see if they'll match your gift to double your impact!
