The Ms. Foundation for Women transforms our democracy and
dismantles oppression by building women’s collective power. Guided
by a gender and racial justice lens, we resource women-led movements,
listen to grassroots leaders and connect them to capacity-building
opportunities, and fight for policies that improve the lives of women
and girls across the country.
We were the first national public foundation to focus on the issues
that impact women. Since 1973, we’ve opened up worlds of possibility
for women and girls and have changed society, policy, and culture
for the better. But our work is far from finished. A democracy where
women and girls of color have justice is a democracy where we all have
justice. Together, we will create it.
