Since 1999 E.V.A. Social Cooperative runs shelter and antiviolence center in the south of Italy. For our mission it's very important to support economic independence and authonomy in women survived to male violence.
The main objective of action of Cooperativa EVA is the safeguard of women from violence in domestic situations, by violent husbands, partners, fathers o brothers, providing life alternatives for them and their children (in antiviolence centre, safe houses,…).

Since 1999 E.V.A. Social Cooperative runs shelter and antiviolence center in the south of Italy. For our mission it's very important to support economic independence and authonomy in women survived to male violence.
The main objective of action of Cooperativa EVA is the safeguard of women from violence in domestic situations, by violent husbands, partners, fathers o brothers, providing life alternatives for them and their children (in antiviolence centre, safe houses,…).
Beside of this care activity versus traumatized women, there is a continuous job of “construction of a new future”, starting for acknowledgement of potential of women up to creation of interactions, sinergies, projects that create occupation and economic independence (e.g. “è un’impresa dire no alla violenza” at Casal di Principe with Ghiottonerie di Casa Lorena for women occupation, Punto Luce with Save the Children always at Casal di Principe for children safeguard, “Mascherine contro la violenza” for providing of facemasks during Covid-19 emergency to women operators of Italian antiviolence centers).
All activities described above are mainly done in Province of Caserta, a difficult area in regional scenario of Campania from the point of view of employment, that often forces the women to renunce to work to dedicate only to home and family.
During the period of activity of Cooperativa EVA many antiviolence centers were opened in Campania region (EVA in Maddaloni, Casa Lorena in Casal di Principe, Aradia in Santa Maria Capua Vetere, Frida in Cerreto Sannita, a point in Public Prosecutor's office of Benevento), often replacing vacatio of Public Administration related to the fighting to violence against women.
To complete the profile of Cooperativa EVA it’s important to mention the important role and contribute to association D.i.Re. (Donne in Rete contro la Violenza), reference of Italian and International Istitutions about the theme of male violences against women.
