This October Add Some Meaning to Your Halloweening® by supporting Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF. Continuing a tradition begun 75 years ago, Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF engages the global citizens of today to help give every child a more equitable future.
By supporting Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF, you will be providing critical, flexible funding that can be used to help children when and where they need it most. Nearly ninety percent of this funding goes directly to programs that provide essentials like education, safe water, and vaccinations against deadly childhood diseases, such as measles or polio.
- $1 can provide 37 pencils to support flexible learning, even during times of emergency
- $2 can provide 1 mosquito net to protect children from malaria
- $5 can provide 35 doses of the polio vaccine
- $6 can provide 1 medium fleece blanket to keep children warm during emergencies.
Flexible funds are crucial to UNICEF’s work in over 190 countries, as well as to its massive humanitarian supply network, which can rush essentials like safe water, blankets or medicine anywhere in the world within 72 hours. This is especially critical as UNICEF responds to hundreds of emergencies and complex humanitarian situations every year.
Supporting Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF is your opportunity to keep the tradition going by helping empower kids, families, and schools.
